What Are the Benefits of Pro-Stride?
Cost Effective
Pro-Stride is less expensive than therapies such as IRAP and PRP while providing a more concentrated, natural product.
Fewer Treatments
Pro-Stride has been proven to last up to one year. Results will vary depending on the severity of the joint disease. Steroid joint injections typically need to be repeated multiple times per year. IRAP requires 3-5 weekly treatments for one overall treatment.
Time Saving
Pro-Stride typically takes 30 minutes to process the concentrate and it happens in our facility. The horse will receive treatment the same day the blood is drawn. Other processes can take several days.
Other Advantages
Pro-Stride can be used in horses that cannot have typical steroid joint injections, such as young horses, laminitic horses, and insulin-resistant horses. It is a great next step for horses that have been unresponsive to steroid therapy.
